Dearest Ma’am Josie and the rest of our Friends-Benefactors:
To God be all the glory and Praise for graciously hearing our plea!
From our hearts, we sincerely thank you for helping us in our dire need. Thank you very much for the additional P20,000 assistance you've given us during your visit po. Indeed, your loving support offers us much strength to face this ordeal with great hope in God, and the goodness of humanity. We believe that in His grace and time, we can overcome all this with much renewed vigor and faith to our very good Lord.
For the meantime, in the little best way we could, our Church continually aids in the recovery process through assisting our 4,957 affected families (of which over 1,500 had totally lost their homes, especially near the coastal areas) in four areas: distribution of food packs, medicines, clothing, and some building materials (nails, tents, etc.). In the same way, we also help our people, through counselling, to get over their trauma and the sense of restlessness. We only hope then that it will end very soon.
Ma’am, in behalf of our Nuestra Sra. de la Salvacion parishioners, THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! We pray that our so good Lord continue to lavish you and the rest of our ‘Very good Samaritans’ friend-benefactors with his spiritual and material graces for your/their benevolence. Thank you very much for being God’s gift to us.
Am very much sorry too that I failed to join you during lunchtime as I was called to celebrate the Eucharist in one of our barrios that was greatly affected po. Thank you so much too ma'am for personally visiting us here po. I am deeply touched by your gracious heart, and for your great kindness po.
