In the early 2000s, Josie Garcia and her sisters inherited land from her father's family. It was an empty lot with several mango trees. Josie started a campaign of fundraising to build a school on that property in Cut Cut, Bulacan, Philippines. St. Anthony's Learning and Development Center was built in 2005 and today provides a free education and lunch for two levels of pre-school.
The dedicated teachers and supporters of St. Anthony's will blog on this page to let everyone know their progress. The video below gives a good overview on the school and it's mission.
